Claire was brought up in Formby, “I have a true connection to the beauty it holds” she says “So, where better to site myself than the amazing woodland right here in the heart of the village”.

Driven by a passion for early years education, Claire has 20 years of experience working in the field. During this time, she has met some inspirational and motivational people who have supported her and pushed her to be the educator she is today, “I have massive thanks and gratitude to those showing me outstanding practice. It gave me confidence and enabled me to open my first nursery in 2015. This is one of my biggest achievements.” Claire went on to achieve the highest ‘outstanding’ accreditation from Ofsted in 2017.

“We have a unique approach which I am happy to say helps build our little people into achieving bigger people!” Claire told us, “I believe that outdoors is where children should be; no walls, no physical boundaries - just nature and the feeling of being alive!”

When was the last time you lay on the forest floor and just looked at the wonder of our earth? This is what Go Explore is about. “Children don't need fancy toys” Claire says “They need time, respect and knowledgeable people to scaffold and support learning. When children have these things the only thing they can do is thrive in their surroundings - and what a surrounding to be in.”

With nature all around us the learning is endless. At Go Explore your children will learn life skills that will follow them for many years. We work with the same curriculum any other nursery does and children will still be exposed to literacy and mathematics - just in a different way. Claire adds, “I am truly honoured to have the chance to work with such amazing minds and a passion to educate to the highest standard.”
